Jack's Wife Freda was on top of my list for things to try while in New York, the place is located in Soho. Super cozy and cute to say the least, I went for brunch there twice but my lunch experience wasn't the best but for a brunch it's a must..

I combined both of my visits in one post, the poached eggs on halloumi cheese as featured above was a great combo topped with fragrant green pesto if you fancy something different..

Rose Water Waffle and Lebanese Yogurt 

I'm a big fan of any sort of desserts that contains rose water and they added rose water to the batter made it even better. The rose water is very subtle nothing too strong and then topped off with fresh berries and what they called as Lebanese Yogurt or Labneh as we call it in the Middle East to be drizzled with honey syrup. Which is a quite a meal by itself..

For my second visit, I fancied something lighter so I went with yogurt topped off with granola, grapefruit and honey 

    And a brunch isn't complete without a latte, even though I'm not a fan of milk based drinks but I kept on ordering Latte's whenever I craved coffee..
