Dine In : Cocoa Room

قبل اسبوعين تقريبا حضرت الافتتاح التجريبي لمطعم " كوكو روم " في مركز الشيخ جابر الاحمد الثقافي ، المنيو والديكور عموما مختلف تماما عن الفرع اللي بجانب قصر السيف So I've managed to try out the newly opened location of " Cocoa Room" at JACC for breakfast last weekend. As it features a totally different touch and feel than their previous location in Al-Seif Strip.

Eggplant Fattah

الطبق الاول اللي ابتدينا فيه اهوا "فتة البيديان" او الباذنجان بالعربي مو معتاد كطبق ريوق و فوقه بيض ، الطبق ككل ناجح وافكر

The 1st dish that we managed to try out was " Eggplant Fattah" a bit of an un-usual dish to order for breakfast, however rather successful since it had poached eggs on top. Something I would definitely order again..

Moroccan Scramble

الطبق الثاني اهوا البيض المغربي ، اللي مايحب الاكل السبايسي او الحار انصحه مايطلبه بس الطبق كان وايد لذيذ وفيه الهريسة المغربية واللي عنده خبره فيها يدري انها وايد حارة بس لذيذة

For the 2nd dish we got the "Moroccan Scramble " a rather interesting combination and super spicy so if you can't tolerate spicy food I suggest you stay away. They've also added Moroccan Harissa which was rather yummy.

حق اللي مايفضل البيض فيه اوبنشز وايد منها " الفلافل " انا مو صوبها كلش بس رفيجتي وايد تمدحها و طريقه تقديمها جدا مرتبه وتكفي شخصين تقريبا

This is for peeps who don't eat eggs, they offer other options to choose from. So this loaded falafel sandwich was on the menu, my friend enjoyed it and recommends it highly. I don't eat Falafel nor cucumbers so I'm not the best judge for such . It was nicely presented and enough for two, something I might get my mom to try out on an upcoming visit.

Block Waffles

النهاية السعيدة لوجبة الريوق ، " الوافل الاسود" معاه تشكيلة من الحبوب مثل حب الشيا وجوده الكاكاو مع التوت اللي مستخدمينه خياليه ، طلبته بزيارة ثانية وقت العشا كطبق حلو وايد جلو وغير معتاد

The " Happy Ending" of the meal was the " Black Waffles " it had activated charcoal and a selection of super seeds, along with a chocolate sauce and ripe berries. A bit un-usual but rather tasty.
