Dine in : Rococoa

Last night I managed to attend a private tasting event at Rococoa, to open this upcoming Thursday  ( June 8 ) at JACC hosted by Pretty Little Things. It's a French inspired local concept,  to be enjoyed at the spot or ordered Online.  امس حضرت ايفنت اجرب مطعم يديد اسمه ( روكوكو ) في دار الاوبرا ، راح يفتح يوم الخميس بتاريخ 8 يونيو الفكرة بشكل عام مستوحاة من الستايل الفرنسي يقدمون تشكيلة متنوعة من الحلويات مثل الككاو والمعجنات والايس كريم وغالبية الاصناف ممكن تنطلب اونلاين من موقعهم

Gougere is a pasty filled with Gruyere cheese mousseline, served with mustard pickle aioli.

Soft and pillowy and a rather good start for a meal.

The Kale salad with hummus dip brushed on the side plus the seeds on top made it a rather interesting combo. Refreshing but not boring.

بالبداية جربت المعجنات بجبنة الغرويير ، العجيبنة ترفة ولذيذة والجبن كان ذايب مع صلصة المسترد على جنب. وسلطة ( الكيل مع الجرجير ) بطرف الطبق كانوا مزينينه بالحمص حسيت لو ارد المطعم مرة ثانية هذا اول شي راح اطلبه لانه وايد منعش ومبتكر

Beetroot Fava Hummus

 This piece of art dip was served with root vegetable dip, a fun dish to share.

شمندر بالحمص مع شبس الخضار ، عموما اي شي فيه حمص يحوز على رضاي 

Minted Ragitoni

 We got served three different main dishes, I'm highlighting with my favourite one which was fresh pasta with mint, butter, preserved lemon, reggiano, spring green peas.

A hearty dish that I wasn't willing to share..

الاطباق الرئيسية جربت ثلاث اطباق مختلفة،راح ابدى باكثر شي حبيته . باستا فريش مع صلصة الزبدة بالنعناع ، الطعم وايد لذيذ ومتوازن وينفع حق الاشخاص اللي مايفضلون ياكلون ايدام

Asian Beef Salad

Beef striploin, rice noodles, mixed leaves & chili - lemongrass dressing.

This dish was full with flavour but shockingly spicy, so proceed at your own risk.

 سلطة النودلز باللحم مع صلصة الليمون جراس ، الطبق وايد لذيذ بس متروس فلفل 

Poke

Sriracha salmon tartar, forbidden rice, cucumber, cabbage slaw, cresses, citrus dressing.

Presentation wise this was my favourite, and I thought I'd like it the most but it was the weakest link as it felt like it was missing something.

 هذا الطبق توقعت اني راح احبه اكثر شي، خصوصا اني احب السالمون والافوكادو وغالبية المكونات اشياء احبها بس حسيت انه كان ناقصة شي 

Desserts : A selection from the chocolaterie and patisserie.

 The happy ending was a vast selection of their finest desserts, my favourite was the Raspberry Yogurt Eclair & the Caramel Choux.

النهاية السعيدة للوجبة كانت تشكيلة كبيرة ومتنوعة من الحلويات اللي يقدمونها ، حبيت اكلير التوت وبقشة الكاراميل .
