Dine In : London

I know this took forever for me to finish, but I wanted to make sure I highlighted most of the things worthy of a visit. So the posts will be divided into three parts : Dine in, Shop and Entertainment section for later. In the Dine in Section I covered three basic parts; Coffee, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Some places requires reservation which I highlighted underneath each description.
هذا البوست اخذ مني وقت وايد طويل، بس كنت ابي احرص اني اغطي غالبية الاماكن اللي حسيتها تستاهل الزيارة. عشان يكون الوضع ارتب قسمتها لثلاث اجزاء، الاكل ، السوق ، و اماكن الترفيه . بوست المطاعم والاكل مقسم للكافيهات ، الريوق، العشا والغدا وذكرت فيه اخر كل وصف اذا المكان يتطلب حجز مسبق
Coffee :    

  Workshop An independent artisan coffee shop, as I managed to try out two things. Their flat white and black coffee . Their seating are is good for a solo outing with a book.   انصح تجربون الفلات وايت ، والمكان حلو ويشجع انه اقعد فيه واقرى كتابي      

      The Monocle Cafe   It's more of a hole in the wall place with mean coffee, it's tiny and located in Chiltern Street in Marlybone. The snacks looked divine but I settled for two things, A shot of espresso to test out the coffee at first then followed by a cup of flat white to go. They have a seating area in the basement and an outdoor area but not recommended in the bitter cold.   المكان في شارع جيلتيرن في مارليبون ، صغير نوعا ما بس قالولي فيه عندهم مكان للقعدة في السرداب وكان فيه كراسي بره تطلع عالشارع بس وقتها البرد مايسمح بالقعدة. شكل المعجنات والحلو كان يشوق بس ماطلبت جربت عندهم الاسبريسو اولا عشان احكم واعجبتني فطلبت بعدها فلات وايت

 

 

Sourced This a small organic super market kinda of store, I've heard many recommendations in regards with their coffee so I got an Americano to go. My sister tested out their cappuccino which she enjoyed.

هذا المكان جنه جمعية بس اورغانيك وعندهم منتجات حلوة ومختلفة عن المعتاد ، عندهم حتى قعدة ومكان للريوق بس مريناه عالسريع لاني سمعت عليه وايد مدح طلبت امريكانو وايد عجبتني واختي جربت الكابتشينو .

 

Gail's Bakery This was purely by coincidence but I'm glad I've tried it out, their coffee and pastry was divine and got a mental note to go back and try it for breakfast.   هذا الكافيه بالذات ماكنت مخططة اني اروحله ، بالصدفة جربت القهوة والمعجنات وعجبتني وطليت عالمنيو فالمرة الياية راح اجربه للريوق      

  Chiltern Firehouse     In Chiltern Street / Marlybone, the place itself is divine. The outdoors seating area is breathtaking, the stone fire place made it more cozy to stay there. I managed to try out their breakfast/coffee, they also serve Maitre Choux eclairs . If you can managed to visit just for the experience, then pass by and take a look.   هذا المكان يشوق ، اهوا فندق وفيه كافيه انا قعدت في المنطقة اللي بره ويشغلون الدفايات عموما التجربة حلوة كزيارة جربت الريوق كان حلو وانصح اذا الوقت ضيج تجربونه للحلو والقهوة .    

Thomas' at Burberry   This was upon request from Burberry Team in UK, I'm glad I've managed to pay it a visit. It's on top of Burberry Flagship store in Regent street, but it feels so far away from the hustle and that's happening below perfect to recharge before you resume shopping . The latte I've ordered was one of the best I've had in my life .    زيارتي لـ" توماس" كان تلبية لدعوة فريق "بربري" في لندن اشوه الوقت سمح اني البيها ، مكان الكافيه في ريجينت ستريت بجانب البوتيك ، تحسونه معزول وبعيد عن اللوية اللي تحت يعني اذا احتجتوا بريك من التسوق عشان ترتاحون شوية قبل لاتكملون هذا المكان جدا مناسب  . الحلو ماعليه كلام بس اللاتيه اللي طلبتها كانت من افضل انواع القهوة اللي جربتها بحياتي   * Reservation might be required


Breakfast :

 
Dishoom  

A hearty Indian breakfast in London, who would've imagined this. I've managed to visit it a couple of times. I'd highly recommend their Kerjriwal; its a spicy Indian style eggs on toast. And the Masala tea ofcourse, and they serve a hot chocolate with Masala spices. Also note that most of their dishes is laden with spices so it's not for the faint of heart.  Some for their chicken and beef dishes are ( Halal )
If you have the chance, I prefer their location in Covent Garden a lot nicer than Carnaby Street.
 
،   هذي مو اول مرة ازور فيها المطعم الهندي ( ديشووم ) جربته للريوق والعشا اذا تحبون الاكل يكون سبايسي لانه حتى طبق الريوق ( كيراجيوال ) متروس بهارات فما يصلح للكل وجاي الماسالا وايد حلو ومضبوط . بعض اطباق اللحم والدياي اللي يقدمونها ( حلال )  انا زرت الفرعين ( كارنابي ستريت و الفرع   المفضل عندي اهوا ( كوفنت جاردن )

The Breakfast Club Prepare yourself for a long wait, I've waited for 45 minutes in the bitter cold but was worth the wait even though everyone else advised me against it . I got the Halloumi/ Hummus wrap ( super good) and ended the meal with their infamous pancakes which we've managed to polish off in no time  !    نطرت تقريبا 45 دقيقة علما وصل دوري في هالمطعم ، مع انه الاراء كانت متفاوته من ناحية الجودة  . طلبت راب الحلوم مع الحمص كانت وايد لذيذة وانهيت الوجبة في البانكيك المشهور عندهم كان جدا خطير لدرجة انه قضينا عليه في وقت قياسي    

Coco Momo
This local restaurant is such a cute little place in Marlybone high street, during my last visit my experience wasn't the best  but this time everything I've ordered was up to the standards. So if you fancy a breakfast or something light for lunch then you should pass by.    كافيه محلي يشوق ومرتب في "مارليبون " هاي ستريت جربته قبل هالمرة بس ماكانت موفقة هالمرة رديتله مرة ثانية والاختيارات كانت جدا افضل. قدرنا نجرب تشكيله من اطباق البيض و انصح بالغرانولا مع الروب اليوناني

      Farm Girl Cafe One of the best breakfasts I've had during my visit, went for the Shakshouka with Greek yogurt. Their rose water latte is highly recommended and if you fancy Matcha latte then go for it. I've noticed their quite creative when it comes to hot drinks.
You must ensure to get their early, as it gets packed so early and the waiting time can get ridiculous.   هذا المطعم لازم تحرصون انكم تروحون له مبجر لانه بسرعة يزدحم والنطرة وايد طويلة ، جربت الشكشوكة مع الروب اليوناني اول مرة اجرب هالطبق مع الروب وكان اختيار موفق وطلبت اللاتيه مع الماي ورد طعمها حلو وطعم القهوة واضح وانصح تجربون الماتشا ( لاتيه الشاي الاخضر) طيبة جدا ويقدمون بعد لاتيه بالفحم اختي جربته وتقول ماله طعم    
Darwin Brasserie     All day brasserie on the 36th floor of Sky Garden, we made a booking for breakfast 2 weeks in advance which permits free access to the SKY Garden. The area was will lit and quite inviting, they had two option of ordering. Either from the pre-set menu or help yourself to their buffet or you can make the best of both worlds and combine them together.  هذا المطعم كان في الدور ال36 في مبنى سكاي جاردن حجزناه قبل بوقت عشان نتريق بعدين نتمشى في الحديقة ، الريوق فيه له اختيارين سواء نطلب من المنيو او البوفيه ونقدر نخلط مابين الاثنين  * Reservation is required            

    The Providores and Tapa Room My love for Turkish Eggs Started at this place, I've tried plenty of varieties of this dish in specific but nothing comes close to what they serve at The Providores it's as good as the ones I've tried in Istanbul if you ever had some. An added bonus, coffee can be served with almond milk.   طبق البيض بالروب عالطريقة التركية جربته اول مرة في هذا المطعم ومن وقتها تولعت ، للاسف بالكويت مالقيت احد يضبطه نفسهم او بجودة الطعم اللي جربته في اسطنبول  . بس المكان عموما حلو ومدحولي اياه للعشا بعد بس يحتاج حجز و حبيت انه اقدر اختار نوعية الحليب مع القهوة ( افضل اشربها مع حليب اللوز )


Afternoon Tea 

B. Bakery Bus Tour   If you fancy a different activity for kids, it's a bus tour around tour with a cute little afternoon tea . We've booked in advance and the meeting point was Victoria Coach station, the tour is around an hour and they serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate and all the works for afternoon tea with scones, mini sandwiches and cake. You also have the option for Gluten Free, Vegetarian & Halal.     هذا الباص ياخذكم في جولة حول لندن، لازم تحجزونه اونلاين قبل بوقت و تركبون الباص من محطة فيكتوريا. الجولة تقريبا مدتها ساعة ويقدمون لكم جاي الظهر المتعارف عليه في لندن . فيه خيار للطب انه يكون نباتي ، خالي من الجلوتين او حلال

Lunch / Dinner:

Zizzi   A popular Italian restaurant,  a bit far from being authentic but hearty nonetheless. It was a life saver because the day we arrived to London was a bit late and more of the places were closed ( Christmas Eve ) we almost ordered everything on the menu and it was divine.   هذا المطعم الايطالي مشهور ، ابعد مايكون عن الطعم الايطالي الاصلي بس جدا لذيذ . جربناه باول يوم وصلنا فيه لندن وكان الوقت نوعا ما متاخر وغالبية المطاعم مسكرة فهالمطعم كان المنقذ وتقريبا طلبنا نص المنيو بس جميع الاختيارات كانت موفقة      

Wahaca My all time favourite  for Mexican food in London, the menu changes up every season but the standards are kept all the same. They dedicate quite a good part for Pescatarians and Vegetarians. I love their salted caramel ice-cream to end the meal.   هذا المطعم المكسيكي من المطاعم المفضلة عندي ،المنيو يتغير من فترة لي الثانية عشان يحافظون عالجودة  وفيه قسم جيد من المنيو حق اللي ياكلون سمج بس والنباتيين . تاكوز السمج من الاطباق المفضلة عندي وايسكريم الكاراميل        

  Bianco 43
Authentic Italian Pizzeria, fresh ingredients and great ambience.
انصح بهذا المطعم اذا بخاطركم بيتزا ايطاليا عالطريقة الاصلية ومكوناتها وايد فريش ، بس احتمال تحتاجون حجز لانه المكان غالبية الوقت زحمة

    Forest at The Roof 
This is one of the places where you hesitate to either eat the food or simply take endless shots, cause mostly everything is crafted to perfection. Since it's on top of  Selfridges makes it ideal for a breakfast to fuel up before shopping or to end the day after the department store closes to have something hearty to eat. The overall atmosphere of the place is gorgeous and the decor sure makes you feel inside a chick forest !
مطعم" فورست " في سطح سلفريدجز ، واحد من الاماكن الحلوة اللي تحسون ديكورها يدخلكم في عالم ثاني ينفع تروحوله الصبح قبل لاتبدون تسوق او وقت العشا قبل لايسكر المحل ويظل فاتح لي الساعة 11 تقريبا . الاطباق جدا لذيذة وتحسونها لوحة فنية لي درجة تحتارون تصورونها ولا تخربونها بالاكل    * Might require reservation

  C London   Cipriani got a different name in London for some reason, I've tried the one in New York and in comparison to the one in London it's pretty much the same except that the NYC version is rather crowded and more lively. But when it comes to food they managed to stick to the Authentic Italian standards. It might not appeal to the Kuwaiti taste buds as we prefer things drenched in spices and sauce. Make room for desserts as I adore their vanilla meringue cake <3    في اخر سفرة لنيويورك  جربت مطعم " جبرياني"  مطعم ايطالي بس عالطريقة الايطالية الاصلية له اسم ثاني في لندن نفس الاطباق بس اللي لاحظته انه الجو العام في نيويورك حيوي اكثر . يمكن غالبية الاطباق الايطالية اللي نحبها عادة معدلين عليها عشان تناسب الذوق الكويتي فراح تفرق عليكم الاطباق في هذا المطعم، انصح تخلون مكان للحلو وتجربون كيكة الميرانغ في النهاية * Reservation is required

 
Comptoir Libanais

Forget about anything else and order their " Mezzeh " platter, good for sharing for two and it has hummus, tabouleh, falaffel and fatoush. And their freshly baked " Mana'eesh" or pastries with Halloumi Cheese and Spinach is hearty and divine.

اذا تبون شي سريع وبنفس الوقت خفيف جربوا طبق المقبلات يكفي حق شخصين و فيه حمص، متبل ، وتبولة وفلافل . وجربنا " المناقيش " نوعين بجبن الحلوم والسبانخ

Desserts:        

  Bake

This bakery was divine, it reminds me of Yamanote Atelier in Dubai, I got the cream filled pastries which was shaped like a fish so yummy and they freshly bake them right infront of your eyes so you get them popping hot. I also couldn't resist the Matcha Iceream shown above, you have a choice of Matcha, Vanilla or both together served in the pastry cone.

هذا المخبز الياباني جدا يشوق، يذكرني بمخبز زرته في دبي بس انتبهوا حق المكونات لانه وايد تدخل فيها منتجات الخنزير طلبت معجنات شكلها على سمج وداخلها كريمة كسترد جدا لذيذة ويخبزونها جدامكم . ماقدرت اقاوم ايسكريم الماتجا اللي بالصورة تقدرون تختارون نكهة الفانيلا اذا ماتفضلون الجاي الاخضر و يحطونه في بسكوت على شكل سمجة

 

Milk Train

A bit of mixed feelings about this cafe, they serve three types of soft serve icecream  ( Vanilla- chocolate- matcha ) along with a cloud of candy floss and a topping of your choice.

كافيه " ميلك ترين " بس يقدم ايسكريم ، و 3 انواع على وجه الخصوص ( فانيلا ، كاكاو ، و جاي اخضر) وتختارون اذا تبون معاها شعر بنات واضافات ثانية

 

Dominique Ansel     Two things to look out for during your visit, the frozen S'mores and cookie cups filled with cold milk but the latter is only served at 3 pm so have this in mind before visiting.   دومينيك انسيل هذا مخبز زرته ثاني مرة من بعد نيويورك ، فيه شغلتين لازم تجربونهم من بعد الكرونت المشهور فيها اهيا السمورز المثلج عبارة عن مارشمالو مشوي وداخله ايسكريم فانيلا ( الجلاتين مستخلص من السمج ) و عندهم كوكيز شكله كوب ويقدمونه مع حليب  جدا لذيذ بس مايتوفر قبل الساعة 3 العصر
