  Hamzawi, one of the latest restaurants in K-town serving a fusion of local favourite sandwiches with a twist. The place is quite tucked in among the area surrounding Al- Mubarkiya, you can find the location through Google Maps ( Here )   حمزاوي، واحد من المطاعم اليديدة في الديرة يقدم ساندويشات تقليدية بلمسة يديدة . المكان جدا هادي ونوعا ما مو بارز في المنطقة اللي حوالين سوق المباركية ، تلاقون المكان اسرع بقوقل مابس     If you fancy a place to get away from crowd and have a nice bite to eat, then I think that would be the place to do so. We went there around dinner time , and was greeted by the owner himself.   المكان مثالي احس اذا ودكم تاكلون بمطعم بس بعيد عن اللوية والزحمة  انا زرته بليل و رحب فينا صاحب المطعم


It was me and my sister dining that night, so we decided to get two sandwiches to share plus an order of fries . The menu featured a wide selection of choices, either chicken , meat or veggies I also noted that each sandwich had a distinctive and a quirky name   كنت رايحة مع اختي فاخترنا انه ناخذ طبقين ونتشارك فيهم مع بطاط مقلي . المنيو كان فيه تشكيلة كبيرة سواء دياي ، لحم او خضرة عشان يرضي كل الاذواق وكل طبق له اسم مميز وغريب

Houda Sandwich

My choice upon recommendation was  " Houda"  it's a chicken fillet sandwich but served with yogurt dill sauce, which gave it a perfect twist.. The bread is certainly another story, so fluffy and nice just like biting into a cloud
  اختياري كان "حودة" اهيا ساندويش جكن فيليه مع جبن وخيار مخلل بس اليديد فيها انه معاها صلصة شبنت عطاها نكهة غير المعتاد عليها في هذا النوع من الساندويش نوع الخبزة كان وايد لذيذ خفيفة و ترفة وضابطة مع الساندويش

Abu Dafer

The 2nd sandwich was my sisters, it's a grilled chicken sandwich marinated in tangy lemon and topped off with a generous amount of coleslaw seasoned with grilled garlic   اختيار اختي كان " أبو ظافر" ساندويش دياي مشوي طعمه ليمون ومعاه سلطة كول سلو بس بنكهة الثوم المشوي طعم الثوم شوي عطاها تويست وكان خفيف لاني كلش ماتحمل الثوم


 The happy ending of our meal was " Muhallabiya" or milk pudding heavily flavoured with mastic gum, the overall texture of this tradition dessert was divine had an icecream like consistency and topped of with crushed pistachio..     النهاية السعيدة لوجبتنا كانت " المحلبية" او المهلبية " معاها مستكة و فوقها فستق مبشور طعمها وايد طيب حسيتها تشبه الايسكريم في قوامها         Instagram Link
