FashBox: All About Eyes

FashBox beauty box for May was all about eyes, came with 4 different shades of eyeshadows to test out so from this month on Nora from The Beauty Lounge  will give her input from a make up fanatic perspective.. 

1 . Bourjois Intense Extrait Eyeshadow, No. 04

As it claims its made from 87% mineral pigments, and should give 2X more coverage than  a classic eyeshadow per application. However. Nora found it a bit stiff and not easy to apply  even the amount of pigmentation was off. She tried it on upper lid and the colour seemed faded and as intense as it claims but can be used on the lower lash line to give the eyes some sort of a depth.

2. Bourjois Ombre Strech, Rose Elastique No.  06
- Very Creamy
-Smooth Application
- Gives a nice satin finish/ sheen
- Perfect to highlight the brow bone and cheekbones






3.Madly Yours, Loose Eyeshadow No.26
- Mineral Eyeshadow, the best of the bunch
- Texture wise is very fine and it blends smoothly
- Can be used in  two ways :
1) All over the lid for a massive shimmery look
2) A cat eye look using an angled brush ( Mac 263 )
- It is recommended to use a setting spray to make it more prominent, NYX setting spray is great.





4. Elizabeth Arden Colour Intrigue, SparkleNo. 19
- Long Lasting
- Great pigmentation
- Rich colour
- Can be worn solo, nice on the tear duct to give a soft effect
