Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience, which took place last week in The Dubai Mall. The editor in chief of Vogue Italia Mrs. Franca Sozzani and the Chairman of Emaar Mr Mohamed Al-Aabbar hosted the fashion event from 6PM to 3 AM.
Upon entering the main entrance of the mall, the grand atrium featured 25 years of Vogue Italia throughout unique covers..
It was such a maze which I personally enjoyed checking out the evolution of the iconic magazine covers and how it evolved among the years..
The second station was the fashion catwalk in The Dubai Mall Fashion Avenue, was led through a red carpet along the way to the seating area
Before being seated to enjoy the show we were each given a Cruciani bracelet branded with the events initials which can be bought througout various kiosks in the mall. The proceeds to be contributed to Dubai Cares .
The fashion show took a kick start by a brief speech given by Franca Sozzani & Mohamed Al-Abbar, the show featured a selection of international designers and emerging talents from the Middle East.
Such as Andrea Incontri, Esme Vie, Ituen Basi * personal favourite* and Simone Rocha. From the Middle East Mohammad Ashi, Lulwa Al-Amin, Razan Al-Azzouni & Wadha Al-Hajri..
I was bummed that I was few inches away from Franca but wasn't able to take a picture with her due to the tight security. Few celebrities were spotted along the fashion crowd such as Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Maya Diab, Lapo Elkann and Roberto Cavalli.
The second stop of the experience was Level Shoe Disrtict, and let me tell you something almost each spot of the mall had something intesting going on but it was physically impossible to be available at each and every spot..
The Shoe district held live dancing shows; ballet and tap dancing while I was around. Aside from meeting famous fashion designers such as Dean and Dan from DSquared, Phillip Plein & Nicholas Kirkwood <3
The famous instagram fashionista Dssaaakss whose absolutely beautiful and incredibly sweet in person, her name is Liana by the way
The Kardashian of The Middle East, Huda & Mona Kattan <3
And finally Zubaida from Boudoir, previously known as Butter Hot Shoes
I've never felt more at home other than meeting my fellow Dubaian bloggers <3
