Dine In: The Butcher's Den !

It was weekend, me and my friends fancied trying somewhere new so after negotiating few options we decided to hit The Butcher's Den. Especially after the mouthwatering post that The Boudoir coveted a while ago ..
قبل جم اسبوع انا ورفيجاتي كنا ندور بالسيارة بخاطرنا نجرب مكان يديد نتعشى فيه،  بعد جم اقتراح قررنا نروح نجرب ذا بوتجرز دين .. خصوصا بعد ماقريت البوست اللي حطته بودوار في بلوقها

Our  table for the night was the chef's table since we showed up un announced and our desicion was a spur of a moment so I suggest having a reservation if you plan to go, once seated each one of us had a cotton candy as a replacement for the usual bread basket !

طاولتنا ذيك الليلة كانت طاولة الشيف ، لانه ماكنا حاجزين قبلها فكانت اهيا الطاولة الوحيدة الفاضية  فنصيحة اذا بتجربون المطعم حجزوا قبلها عشان لا تتوهقون.. أول ماقعدنا حطوا جدامنا سلة فيها شعر بنات بدال سلة الخبر اللي متعودين عليها في المطاعم الثانية..

The yellow wallpaper featured pink cows, which I thought was beyond quirky but my friend didn't agree with that point !
الديكور يشوق الوول بيبر لونه اصفر و فيه صور بقر لونها وردي ،بس  رفيجتي تخالفني الراي و  تقول شكلهم مايشوق كلش  

We ordered a selection of appetizers to try out, yucca chips and blue potato matchsticks which were incredibly tasty..

The yucca chips was slightly dull but we managed to dip into the mango sauce and make it work !

طلبنا تشكيلة مقبلات ، اولها يوكا جيبس للاسف ماعرف اسمها بالعربي و البطاط الازرق اللي مقصصينه جنه عيدان يذكرني بالبطاط اللي كنا ناكله ايام قبل كان ايي بعلبه معدن مدورة مو؟ بس وايد كان لذيذ

شيبس اليوكا كان طعمه عادي بس خلطناه مع صلصة المانجا و صار طعمه أحلى..

Shrimp cakes, which were very dull to say the least but the mango aioli sauce that came with it was really good so I used it as a dip for the chips !

كيك ربيان ، وايد كان عادي ومافيه زود كلش ماعجبنا بس صلصة المانجا اللي كانت وياه وايد لذيذه فكليناها مع اليوكا

Wild rocca salad with blueberry and walnuts so fresh and light just the perfect start to have alongside the steaks !
سلطة الجرجير مع البلوبيري و البندق وايد فريش ولذيذه خصوصا انه ورانا ستيك كطبق رئيسي وانا وايد احب لما يخلطون فاكهة مع السلطة

Before the steaks were served we each chose our steak knife according to our favourite colour, can you guess which colour I went for?
كل وحدة تنقي اي لون تبي قبل لا يوصل الستيك ، تهقون انا اي لون اخترت؟

I got the ribeye angus beef, well done but was very tender nonetheless ..

We got  a selection of sides to share one of them was those gigantic mushrooms in the picture below

بالنسبة حق الستيك اخترت ريب اي انجوس ستيك ، وخذينا تشكيلة من الاطباق الجانبية بس للأسف نسيت اصورها بس صورت المشروم العملاق اللي بالصورة اللي تحت 

Chocolate Souffle

The happy ending of our meal was chocolate souffle which had raspberry bits in it, I thought it was a refreshing addition to this chocolatey dessert which came with strawberry icecream on the side..

واخيرا النهاية السعيدة حق كل وجبة اهيا الجوكليت سوفليه وكان فيها قطع راسبري طري خفف من حدة الككاو بس وايد حبيتها وقدموها لنا مع شعر بنات و ايس كريم فراولة

Chocolate Chip & Bacon Cookies

My friends were feeling adventrous so they decided to try this desserts, I'm not a fan of bacon so I opted out but they mentioned they you don't taste the bacon until the last bite  ..

Doesn't the vanilla bean stick look cute? It was just regular warm milk if you fancied dipping your cookies in..

 رفيجاتي طق براسهم يجربون شي يديد ، اختارو كوكيز الككاو مع البيكن انا كلش مو من ربع البيكن فماجربته بس على كلامهم انه طعم الككاو طاغي وماحسوا بطعم بالبيكن الا بآخر قرمة من الكوكيز .. كان وياه حليب دافي مع عود فانيلا اذا بخاطركم تغمسون الكوكيز مع الحليب
